Odense

Odense the third largest city of Denmark. The excavations it self take back to the stone age. And the most interestingly this city is the birthplace of renowned writer Hans Christian Anderson. The king of fairy tale. The museum of Anderson is a great place to visit. It contains several places where Anderson lived. And the citybis surrounded by the many sculptures which represent the characters of Anderson’s fairy tales.  Therefor many writers and pilgrims come and visit the city. And the city is the home to the Odense palace which was built by king Federic iv.

 Ancient catherdals, buildings, holy shrines add an additional glory and beauty to this ancient city. As well ancient museums are there. Many of the holy shrines were built in the Middle age.

The city has temperate oceanic climate. July and August are the hottest months of the year.

If you set foot to Odense the town will convert you in to a story teller. And if you are a history lover the you will be fascinated by this enchanted city.
